Alice Jacobs, IntelligentMD’s CEO, Attends the 2007 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland

In January 2007, Alice Jacobs, CEO of IntelligentMD, attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland where she participated in policy-advancing health care symposia.

The WEF’s Annual Meeting performs a unique role by bringing together world leaders from multiple sectors of society, including political, business, academic, and religious leaders as well as cultural personalities. It provides insight, stimulates an exchange of ideas, provides leaders with opportunities to establish personal connections, and seeks new solutions to the most pressing challenges on the global agenda.

Ms. Jacobs also participated in the Forum for Young Global Leaders (YGL) — a separate set of activities sponsored by the World Economic Forum. YGL is a forum for the young, emerging leaders of the next generation to envision the future, initiate global strategies, and develop innovative responses that address some of the world’s most difficult risks and challenges.

Ms. Jacobs and the IntelligentMD team have a deep commitment to the detection and alleviation of infectious diseases and believe IntelligentMD’s test development process can play a significant role in reaching these objectives. At the WEF and YGL conferences, Ms. Jacobs communicated the company’s central message to an international audience: that better diagnostics can produce better therapeutics.
