Sarah S. Toomey, Esq. Named Director, Intellectual Property at IntelligentMDx
IntelligentMDx is pleased to announce that Sarah Toomey joined IntelligentMDx as Director of Intellectual Property. Prior to joining IntelligentMDx, Ms. Toomey was an Associate at two intellectual property law firms in northern Virginia. Ms. Toomey has experience in prosecution, interference practice and litigation motions practice. Prior to law school, Ms. Toomey worked at Merck & Co., Inc. as a Microbiologist in a biocatalysis laboratory, where she researched biotransformations and fermentations and produced clinical material for product campaigns.
Ms. Toomey received her B.S. in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D., with a concentration in intellectual property, from Suffolk University Law School. Ms. Toomey is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
